This webinar introduces nonprofit organizations to the practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI), with a focus on building awareness, reducing hesitation, and identifying opportunities for meaningful use. Attendees will gain a foundational understanding of how AI can support accounting and operational processes.
In this session, Aprio's nonprofit specialists cut through the noise and offer a practical, grounded introduction to AI for nonprofit finance and accounting teams. We will walk through what AI actually is (and what it is not), how to assess your organization's readiness, and what a realistic AI adoption journey looks like, starting with the right people, processes, and integrations before selecting any technology.
Rather than focusing on specific tools or advanced technical builds, this session is designed to educate and orient participants to what is possible today, highlight low-risk starting points, and provide actionable ideas for incorporating AI into their organizations in a secure and practical way.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, participants should be able to:
-
Identify the foundational people, processes, and integrations required to assess organizational readiness and begin an AI adoption journey in a nonprofit finance environment.
-
Describe practical applications of AI in nonprofit accounting and operations, including automation of data entry, financial processes, and reporting support.
-
